Project Engineer / TPE

Job Description:

Your tasks

Preparation of customer specific product design (based on known designs, only adaptation required, customer specific developments, etc.)
Leading small to medium-sized projects according to PEP process
Creating new designs solution based on existing knowledge and further development of existing products
Implementation of change management according to internal processes
Technical support and consulting of the sales organization, product management
Close cooperation with related functions, R&D, process engineering, purchasing and production
Data management and setup of required documentation and settings in CATIA, PDM and SAP for implementation of production orders (item creation, rework, re-opening and elimination)
Support quality management in process related aspects of issue solving (customer claims, CARs, etc.)
“Clause by clause” review and interpretation of technical specifications and contracts (according to GMS). Creation of solution specifications and comments as required
Create drawings, mechanical constructions, technical data sheets and technical requirement specifications (for supplier evaluation), run simulations and technical calculations (temperature, cross section, etc.)
Technical support for product validation, setup of initial test plan, support implementation of basis tests, etc.
Cost calculation for customer specific products

Qualifications & Requirements: Your profile

Technical background such as Technician or bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
Knowledge of engineering methods as CAD design engineer
Willingness to cooperate in international and cross-functional teams, including in international missions abroad
Knowledge of creativity techniques and analysis methods: Mind Mapping, Brainstorming, Ishikawa, Turtle Diagram, 5 Why, etc.
Good communicator, open minded, presentation skills
Solution oriented, organized, independent/self-sufficient and structured way of working
