Material Planning Engineer M/F

Job description

1. Manage materials demand forecast to suppliers based on production needs (CCRP/MRP).

2. Manage PR/PO based on demand, inventory, lead time and defined market share.

3. Follow up suppliers' commitment and delivery to ensure OTD.

4. Manage materials inventory to ensure adequate supply to fulfill production needs, but no excess / non-revolving inventory.

5. Work with CE & Operation to drive projects for materials multi-sourcing and cost saving.

6. Manage and engage suppliers for supply chain effectiveness and efficiency continuous improvement.

7. Follow up other tasks assigned by manager.

Profile

1. Basic knowledge about semi-conductor manufacturing, especially on process on material.

2. Basic knowledge about supply chain process in manufacturing environment, especially demand forecast, inventory management and MRP process.

3. Good communication and negotiation skills, with clear logic thinking & business-driven mindset.

4. Good sense of urgency and responsibility, able to work under pressure.

5. Fluent in business English, both oral and written.

6. Master office softwares especially Excel and Powerpoint.

7. Good skills on statistics and data analytics.

8. Master Python or Access will be a plus.
