Job description : Responsibilities
Take charge of the entire process of specific language-based dubbing projects. Develop a comprehensive project plan, including setting milestones and timelines for each stage, such as script preparation, casting, recording, and post-production. Ensure that all tasks are carried out in an orderly manner and that potential bottlenecks are anticipated and addressed in advance.
Establish and enforce strict quality standards for dubbing. Thoroughly review the audio output from dubbing artists, assessing aspects like pronunciation accuracy, intonation, rhythm, and emotional expression. Provide detailed and constructive feedback to dubbing artists to improve the quality of their work until it meets the project requirements.
Communicate closely with dubbing artists to understand their creative ideas and needs. Clearly convey the project's creative direction, style requirements, and any specific instructions regarding character portrayal or tone. Provide necessary support and resources during the recording process.
Work hand-in-hand with localization translators to ensure that the translated text is suitable for dubbing in terms of length, rhythm, and cultural appropriateness. Verify that the content of the translator's text and the dubbing artist's output are consistent. Regularly hold joint meetings or communication sessions to address any discrepancies or questions that arise during the project.
Act as a central point of contact to resolve any issues or conflicts that may occur between dubbing artists and localization translators. When problems such as text-audio synchronization issues or misunderstandings about cultural references arise, quickly find solutions through effective communication and negotiation.
