Summary

m2r Education are working with this Shanghai based education company who provide professional education consultancy services to families across China. They need a Teaching Department Manager to join their team.

This Shanghai based role is pivotal for the company and we need somone with a strong education background to fulfil the tasks as below :

Responsible for teaching IELTS / UKiset / ISEB / other entrance examinations for British independent schools;
Fully prepare for the subjects taught and improve the teaching syllabus;
Establish a comprehensive student ability assessment system;
Actively carry out teaching and research work according to the curriculum system;
Responsible for the teaching affairs management and operation of the training center and team training;
Investigate students' learning outcomes to improve the teaching process and develop teaching methods that students find easy to accept;
Responsible for organizing and implementing supervision of teaching activities, implementing teaching staff, management, guidance, and assessment;
Continuation of existing foreign teacher recruitment channels and development of new recruitment channels, management of foreign teacher contracts;
Formation, stability, and development of the Chinese and foreign teaching team, management of curriculum plans, teaching plans, and monitoring of teaching processes.

Requirements

Current resident in Shanghai

Educational Background : Bachelor's degree or above, familiar with British independent school education, or individuals with study experience in independent schools in the UK or other study experiences in the UK are preferred.

Work Experience : 3-8 years of work experience, familiar with the British examination system, and experience in tutoring and teaching in British independent schools, with experience in UKiset / ISEB / IELTS teaching preferred. Including more than 2 years of teaching management experience, experience in teaching management in schools or educational institutions is preferred;

Language Proficiency : Native-level English proficiency or holding relevant professional certificates;

Possess basic computer operation skills and network knowledge, proficient in using Office office software;

Good communication skills, fully responsible for teaching management work, and complete teaching tasks with quality and quantity;

Grasp the direction of teaching, carry out teaching and research activities, continuously improve teaching quality and level, and promote educational and teaching effects;

Possess advanced educational and teaching concepts, strong innovative awareness, and practical ability;

This position requires candidates to have a strong teaching management ability, and candidates without experience in the education industry should not apply.
