Headquartered in Dubai, we work closely with ODM and OEM partners in China to design, build, and deploy production-ready Android devices.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Technical Engineer with experience in Android system-level lock and control solutions within an ODM/OEM environment. The role is based at an ODM site in China and focuses on delivering reliable device enforcement functionality integrated into real manufacturing and deployment workflows.

System-level only (AOSP / BSP / DPC / provisioning) — not application development. This is a hands-on production role requiring direct involvement in factory and device deployment environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop device lock and control mechanisms at the Android system level (AOSP / BSP / firmware)
• Build system applications and Device Owner (DPC) components
• Implement lock/unlock, kiosk mode, restriction, and anti-tamper controls
• Customize firmware with ODM teams and validate builds
• Support factory provisioning and zero-touch enrollment
• Integrate with backend systems (API, remote commands, telemetry)
• Manage device lifecycle: onboarding - enforcement - recovery
• Ensure enforcement persistence across reboot, SIM change, and offline scenarios
• Integrate device control into factory flashing and provisioning workflows
• Support production testing and firmware release validation
• Diagnose and resolve device-level issues in production and field environments
• Support factory and field testing of production devices
• Maintain technical documentation for firmware configuration and device control logic

Core Requirements

• Strong Android system-level development experience (not application development)
• Hands-on experience with:
  • AOSP / BSP / custom firmware
  • Device Owner (DPC) / Android Enterprise
  • System or privileged applications
  • Experience with device lock, kiosk, or enforcement solutions
  • Experience working with ODM/OEM or device manufacturers
  • Understanding of Android security and device provisioning
  • Experience with API integration and remote device control
• Fluent English, Based in China
• Understanding of device integrity mechanisms (secure boot, verified boot)

Experience & Education

• 3+ years Android system-level engineering experience
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Science
• English and Chinese language proficiency required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Samsung Knox or other OEM SDKs
• Experience with MDM / EMM platforms
• Understanding of device financing, PAYG, or telecom deployments
• Experience working in international or cross-border engineering teams

• System-level role (AOSP / firmware), not mobile application development
• Based at ODM site in China
• Work closely with Dubai HQ and ODM engineering teams
• Production stability and deployment readiness are core expectations for this role

岗位职责

在 Android 系统层（AOSP / BSP / 固件）开发设备锁定与控制机制

开发系统应用及 Device Owner（DPC）组件

实现锁定/解锁、kiosk 模式、限制策略及防篡改控制

与 ODM 团队合作进行固件定制及版本验证

支持工厂预配置及零接触部署（zero-touch enrollment）

与后端系统集成（API、远程指令、数据回传）

管理设备全生命周期：上线 控制 恢复

确保在重启、更换 SIM 卡及离线情况下控制持续生效

将设备控制集成至工厂刷机及配置流程

支持量产测试及固件发布验证

在生产及现场环境中诊断并解决设备级问题

支持工厂及现场设备测试

维护固件配置及设备控制逻辑的技术文档

核心要求

扎实的 Android 系统级开发经验（非应用开发）

具备以下实操经验：

o AOSP / BSP / 定制固件

o Device Owner（DPC）/ Android Enterprise

o 系统级或特权应用开发

o 设备锁定、kiosk 或控制类解决方案经验

o 有 ODM/OEM 或设备制造商合作经验

o 理解 Android 安全机制及设备配置流程

o API 集成及远程设备控制经验

英语流利，工作地点在中国

理解设备完整性机制（如 secure boot、verified boot）

经验与学历要求

3年以上 Android 系统级工程经验

计算机工程、软件工程、电子工程或计算机科学相关专业学历

具备中英文沟通能力

优先条件

有 MDM / EMM 平台经验

理解设备融资、PAYG 或电信项目

有国际或跨境工程团队合作经验
