Job Responsibilities：

1、Release authority for Plastic materials in project and lifecycle, Plastic and Elastomer

2、Approval and veto right regarding local deviations from BSH material and veto right is with the global functions

3、Collaborate with global functions to complete the qualification of material suppliers and 3rd party labs.

4、Manage material technology database with AI tools and Team center material information

5、Perform material release tests needs and issue reports based on test data.

6、Develop new cost-efficient plastic material solutions to achieve both cost save and process efficiency

7、Design and develop experiments that can predict the material property under user scenarios work condition

8、Ensure timely release of raw materials according to the company's development requirements, standards and regulations for home appliances projects and lifecycle management, in line with project milestones and roadmap.

9、Timely release of raw materials according to the company's development requirements, standards and regulations for cost reduction and alternative sourcing projects, in accordance with cost targets and supplier strategy.

10、Development of innovative raw material technologies for enhancing home appliances aesthetics and achieving cost reduction.

11、Lead problem-solving efforts related to raw material issues, including definition of containment actions, identifying root causes, developing and implementing solutions, and ensuring continuous improvement in material technologies

Job Requirements：

1、Experienced in circular economy principles, plastic recycling, sustainability design, CO2 emission accounting principles, et AI,

2、Resilient to solve problems, find the root cause, and provide effective solutions

3、Applied knowledge in the field of decorations and polymers in home appliance in common plastic material such as Polyolefin, Polypropylene, Engineering plastic such as ABS, Polyamide, Polycarbonate-alloy and PMMA etc.，surface treatment, injection process.

4、Experienced with material analytics, and failure mode

5、Familiar with 1st principle methodology to design validation test to predict the material performance match real test condition

6、Familiar with DOE methodology, Arrhenius Equation for factor influence to material behaviors, and define necessary robust tests to test materials.

7、Advanced applied experience plastic material technical Strategy and match most suitable Resin materials with design input

8、Familiar with China and Global material technical status in home appliance;

9、Experienced in Teamcenter in material database management.

10、Familiar with material test lab, test equipment (FT-IR, DSC, Tensile Test, Abrasion, environmental tests etc.) test operations, test results analysis to drive the conclusion

11、Autonomous, reliable, team-minded and communicative personality

12、Willingness to travel, also international, Fluent English
