EL Sales Support Specialist - Configuration and Quotation (Technical Sales Support Specialist)

-General Responsibilities

Support the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and prepare technical descriptions of the applied products and technology to support the proposal process. Serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area.

-Main Accountabilities

• Offers technical promotion, technical support pre-sales.
• Offers technical advice and provides comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers with regard to ABB products/systems/ applications. Provides technical support and during the bidding, technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations.
• Formulate competitive bids/estimates/quotations, taking into account best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations for each individual situation.
• Ensure tenders are well documented in a timely manner and with appropriate level of details, including full and accurate costs.
• In accordance with bid/estimate/quotation planning, ensures that inputs for editing activities are provided on time and according to established quality procedures.
• Identify potential risks in the bids, quotations and estimates and in any related contract agreements across customers/channels. Provides information and/or participates in the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy.
• Responsible for collecting and collating all information needed to prepare the proposal, including both technical and cost elements.

-Requirements

• Major in Electrical/Engineering related
• Basic Theoretical with 3+ years of experience
• Fluent on English both in written and oral
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Use AI as an assistant to boost productivity
• Good communication and interpersonal skills expected, and with good teamwork spirit
