ABOUT YOU
We are looking for aSenior Backend Engineerwho issystems-minded detail-oriented and passionate about building scalable infrastructureto join ourPlatform Engineering team. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced highly collaborative and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited todesign and own the server-side architecture of a white-label game distribution platform tackling challenges in multi-tenancy large-file delivery and high-concurrency systems.

Strong command of GoLang and solid experience in microservices and distributed systemsare essential along with experience inbuilding backend services for content distribution app stores or gaming platforms. The ability tocollaborate with cross-functional teams and drive technical decisions on performance security and observabilitywill be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Design build and maintain the backend services for the game distribution platform with a highly available and scalable server-side architecture

• Design and implement a multi-tenant architecture supporting data isolation

• Design and implement the storage and delivery solution for large game files (object storage / CDN signed download URLs resumable downloads version management)

• Build backend APIs and permission systems for the operations admin panel and publisher portal

• Design and deliver the search solution (e.g. Elasticsearch) to power full-text search and filtering of games

• Ensure system performance concurrency security and observability (monitoring logging alerting)

• Game industry experience required
• On-site position only (remote work not available)

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5 years of backend development experience

• Strong command of GoLang

• Proficiency with AI coding tools (Claude Code Gemini etc.)

• Solid RESTful API design skills; familiar with microservice architecture

• Familiar with relational database (MySQL/PostgreSQL) design and optimization; knowledge of NoSQL (Redis etc.)

• Familiar with message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ) caching and other middleware

• Solid engineering fundamentals: coding standards unit testing Git CI/CD

Nice to have

• Understanding of the Chinese gaming industry and experience in Chinese game building publishing or operation on major Chinese gaming platforms

• Experience in backend development for games or game platforms

• Familiarity with server-side integration of game SDKs (accounts in-app purchases real-name verification)

• Familiarity with in-app purchase (IAP) virtual goods and order management

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS / white-label platform architecture

• Familiarity with Elasticsearch

• Experience designing and optimizing high-concurrency high-traffic systems

• Experience with app stores or content/game distribution platforms

• Knowledge of object storage and CDN with experience in or awareness of large-file / high-concurrency delivery

Note: Less experienced candidate could be considered as middle-level developer.
