This Montessori kindergarten in Luohu District is a licensed institution approved by the Education Bureau. With nearly 5000 square meters of building space and over 1000 square meters of outdoor activity area it is the largest and most comprehensive Montessori kindergarten in Shenzhen. Curriculum Overview (About the Role)

The Montessori curriculum follows a child-centered approach with five core learning areas.

Emphasizes daily living sensory math language and science and culture areas

Incorporates a three-hour Montessori work cycle each day to build focus

Integrates English language immersion throughout daily activities

Position Overview

The English Homeroom Teacher works within a Montessori environment to guide children aged 1.5 to 6 years old. This role collaborates with AMI/AMS certified teachers and reports to the teaching manager. Teachers are responsible for lesson planning classroom management parent communication and continuous professional improvement.

Working Hours

Days: Monday Friday (2 days off per week)

Time schedule: 7:50 AM 5:00 PM

Break details: 1:30 PM 2:30 PM lunch break

Class Structure

Class size: 15 24 students

Details: Student ages 3 to 6 (Pre-kindergarten ages 1.5 to 3)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver English instruction and maintain a Montessori-inspired classroom environment

Prepare weekly and monthly teaching plans daily summaries weekly reports and monthly reports

Complete assignments allocated by the teaching manager or kindergarten principal

Attend trainings meetings and company activities

Participate in student activities and parent meetings

Continuously improve teaching through self-study and class development

Maintain positive relationships with class members and parents

Take good care of students and help them build strong character

Assist other teachers and accompany students during classes and activities

Contribute to classroom environment decorations

Requirements

Requirements

Native English speaker from US UK Canada Australia New Zealand Ireland or South Africa

Major in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred

Two years of kids teaching experience strongly preferred; TESOL certification is a plus

Must qualify for a Chinese Z visa in an English teaching position
