This is more than a sourcing role. With a reputation for innovation, technical excellence, and responsible manufacturing, the business is strengthening its sourcing to deliver greater consistency, stronger supplier performance, and increased commercial value across its China operations.*** ****What Youll Be Doing**** * ***Build and lead a new Trims Sourcing team.*** * ***Develop sourcing strategy across all apparel businesses in China.*** * ***Manage a growing *US$1820 million* annual trims spend.*** * ***Negotiate pricing, rebates, payment terms, service agreements and strategic supplier contracts.*** * ***Analyse supplier performance and identify opportunities to improve cost, service and commercial terms.*** * ***Partner with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Production and Business Units to align sourcing priorities.*** * ***Introduce supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement programmes.*** * ***Resolve commercial, quality and delivery issues.*** * ***Identify new sourcing opportunities where they deliver genuine business value.*** * ***Drive sourcing excellence while supporting innovation, quality and supply chain resilience.*** *** Qualifications: *** ****What Were Looking For**** * ***Extensive experience sourcing trims and accessories within the apparel industry.*** * ***Strong commercial negotiation skills with proven results.*** * ***Excellent analytical ability and commercial acumen.*** * ***Deep understanding of trims, supplier markets and manufacturing.*** * ***Experience influencing multiple stakeholders across a matrix organisation.*** * ***Strong supplier management and relationship-building skills.*** * ***High levels of integrity, professionalism and accountability.*** * ***Excellent English communication skills.*** * ***Mandarin would be an advantage but is not essential.*** ****The Ideal Candidate* The successful candidate wont need to learn the trims businesstheyll already know it.
