Product Engineer

1. Product Design & Development

• Responsible for the 2D/3D design and development of exhaust system part, and related components.
• Utilize UG (Siemens NX) for 3D modeling, engineering drawing creation, and design optimization.
• Design and develop sensor structures, including metal components, ceramic elements, connectors, wiring harnesses, and assemblies.
• Support new product development, prototype builds, DV/PV validation, and production launch activities.

2. Product Engineering Management

• Manage technical aspects throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Lead engineering change activities, including ECR/ECN evaluation, implementation, and closure.
• Convert and implement customer drawings, internal standards, and technical specifications.
• Track project development status and coordinate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement, quality issue resolution, and cost reduction (VAVE) initiatives for mass production products.
• Participate in DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and other product development activities.
• Support customer audits, project reviews, and technical discussions.

3. Drawing & BOM Management

• Prepare, release, archive, and maintain engineering drawings and associated documentation.
• Maintain drawings, BOMs, and technical documents within PDM/PLM systems.
• Ensure consistency between product configurations, engineering drawings, and BOMs while maintaining full traceability.

4. Tolerance Analysis & Engineering Optimization

• Define and review GD&T requirements, tolerance analyses, and dimensional stack-up calculations.
• Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) analyses to improve manufacturability and assembly robustness.
• Support failure analysis, quality improvement activities, and product design optimization.

5. Engineering Standardization

• Participate in the development and deployment of global engineering standards.
• Drive engineering drawing standardization, modular design practices, and design database improvements.
• Provide training on design standards and support engineering knowledge management.
