Welcome to Bosch. *Job Description* Lead the global category management of displays and related products, including display glasses, backlight units and touch panels. * Define and execute global category strategies in alignment with worldwide business requirements. * Lead global sourcing initiatives and supplier selection activities in collaboration with divisions, manufacturing plants, and purchasing teams across countries and regions. * Drive commercial excellence and realize cost competitiveness through price negotiations, productivity measures, and supply base optimization. * Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships to support sustainable business growth and innovation. * Develop and drive supply chain resilience strategies, including supplier footprint optimization, localization, and risk mitigation initiatives. * Ensure supply security and manage allocation, shortage, and supply chain risk situations. * Act as Supplier Key Account Manager for designated suppliers within the category. * Collaborate closely with internal business units to achieve the best business performance. * Lead Global Commodity Buyers (GCBs) and coordinate category-related activities worldwide. * Lead end-to-end category activities including market intelligence, supplier development, sourcing, nomination, and supplier performance management. * Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the manager. *Qualifications* *Required skills : * *Industry Expertise & Professional Competencies : * * *Experience Baseline : *5 - 8 years of commercial purchasing experience, with a proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier portfolio management, and category management; deep expertise in the automotive electronics sector is strongly preferred. * *Industry Know-How : *Knowledge of automotive environment incl. particularly electronics, quality standards and customer-specific requirements. * *Result Orientation & Business Drive : *Strong self-motivation and an entrepreneurial mindset. Ability to work independently, spearhead major procurement initiatives, and consistently drive the business toward strategic targets. * *Complex Alignment & Negotiation : *Exceptional commercial negotiation skills and influencing capabilities. Proven ability to break down silos and effectively align interests and integrate resources across cross-regional and cross-functional teams. * *Business Overview & Resilience : *Strong big-picture commercial acumen rather than a narrow, tactical focus. Demonstrates high resilience and effective stress management in a VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) environment * *Growth Mindset : *High level of self-discipline and capacity for self-reflection. Open-minded, inclusive, and a strong team player. *Cross-Cultural Experience : *Proven experience studying or working abroad is a mandatory requirement. Must be highly adaptable to diverse, multicultural environments and capable of seamless cross-border collaboration *Language Proficiency : *Fluent in both spoken and written English *Preferred Skills : * Deep understanding of the display industry, including display manufacturing processes, technology roadmaps, and market dynamics.
