Design Laboratory Engineer

Purpose
This role is responsible for the design, development and industrialization of process, products and technologies, maximizing business value and customer satisfaction for existing or new products.
Key Missions
- Defines, develops and qualifies new products, new structures and new processes according to customers specification and related standards (Quality Cost Delay QCD)
- Prepares and maintains required documentations
- Benchmarks and supplies consultation to optimize technical solutions
- Writes technical specifications for qualification process
- Supports innovation and enriches IDEMIA IP (intellectual property)
- Supports IDEMIA manufacturing sites for technical issues, customers complaints and sharing best practices and support process improvement
- Advices internal or external customer for new product orientations or specifications
- Develops and industrializes simple products (new one or small evolution)
- Prepares and maintains required documentation
- Advices internal customer on projects
