Job description: Job responsibilities:
Responsible for the translation and localization of medical equipment related documents, including but not limited to: user manuals IFU, technical specifications, compliance documents, training materials, e-Learning Course etc.
Ensure that the translation complies with the terminology standards and style requirements of large medical equipment companies such as Philips, GE, and United Imaging.
Use CAT tools such as Trados/MemoQ (MQ) to manage translation memory and ensure project consistency.
Participate in terminology database maintenance and QA proofreading work.
Job requirements:
✅Required conditions:
Native-level bilingual proficiency (language certificate or study/work certificate required), and translation experience in the medical apparatus industry, especially translation experience for corresponding types of documents (such as user manuals IFU, Molecular Imaging, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, etc.), as well as translation experience for localization manuals and imaging products. Translation association certificates such as Sworn, ATA, NATTI, etc. are preferred.
Possess a background in medical/engineering/linguistics, translation-related majors, with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree preferred.
More than 2 years of localization translation experience in the medical equipment field.
Proficient in using Trados or MemoQ (MQ), able to independently handle TM and terminology libraries.
Familiar with medical industry standards such as ISO , highly sensitive to the rigor of technical documents.

Successful cases of serving companies such as Philips, GE, and United Imaging Healthcare Co., Ltd. are the best.
Have experience in LQA testing; if working at IQVIA or Transperfect for a long time, and have experience in medical translation. Accepting projects in CCJK or RWS indicates localization experience, which is a bonus.
