Specific Responsibilities Would Include
Overall Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Director of Production in the US Office, providing regular updates on production targets, issues, and action plans
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cosmetic production facility in China, ensuring efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes
- Develop and oversee the implementation of a robust production and delivery schedule to meet customer order fulfillment requirements
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all production processes, ensuring compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor production throughput, on-time delivery, order fulfillment rates, and other relevant metrics
- Coordinate with the quality assurance team to implement effective quality control measures, including in-process inspections, product testing, and process validation
- Collaborate closely with suppliers and logistics team to ensure seamless coordination of goods shipments from the production facility to warehouse or directly to customers
- Analyze production data, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to the Director of Production to enhance overall operational performance
- Collaborate with the R&D and engineering teams to assess the feasibility of new product introductions or process changes, and facilitate the implementation of approved projects
- Monitor and optimize production efficiency, yield, and throughput by identifying and addressing bottlenecks, waste, and other process improvements
- Identify and implement automation, digitization, and other technology-driven initiatives to improve production capabilities and productivit

Additional Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, or related field5+ years of experience in a sourcing or procurement role, preferably in the cosmetics, personal care, toys or consumer goods industryProven track record of successfully managing production teams, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvementStrong understanding of cosmetic manufacturing processes, including formulation, filling, packaging, and quality controlUnderstanding of cost accounting principles and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysisFamiliarity with global trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics operationsFamiliarity with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards applicable to cosmetic productsProficient in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting to make data-driven decisions and present insights to senior managementCompetency Requirements (if applicable)
